ENHANCEMENT SHAMAN GUIDE (WoW 4.3.4)


Race
Horde - Best horde race would be Orc as most of all agree due to their racial passive abilities(If your an Orc be sure to use the racial passive Axe Specialization). But Troll's aren't bad either.
Alliance - It would be Draenei due to their racial spell called Gift of Naaru.

Professions

I would advise you to take Blacksmithing / Inscription.

Talents
If you use purge a lot use the 2 points in Concussion on Convection. You can also swap the Toughness 3 points to the Static Shock, However i don't recommend this because i feel myself getting damaged hard always. Even Stoneclaw Totem and Shamanistic Rage can't control the Dmg of a Warlock/Shadow Priest.

1H(Main Hand) Enhant: Landslide           1H(Off hand)Use: Pyrium weapon Chain
Bracer: Agility / Draconic Embossment-Agility (Leatherworking Profession)
Chest: Mighty Resilience
Cloak: Greater Spell Piercing
Feet: Mastery / Major Agility
Gloves: Greater Mastery / Greater Expertise
Head: Arcanum of Vicious Agility
Legs: Dragonscale Leg Armour
Shoulders: Greater Inscription of Shattered Crystal / Swiftsteel Inscription (Inscription Profession)
Waist: Ebonsteel Belt Buckle

Gems
Reforging
Reforge to Mastery > Crit (If crit higher than 30% cut it to Mastery)

Stat Priority

Agility > Mastery > Crit (30%) >  Resilience > Haste(Very useless)

Stats
Hit 5% (Normally when you get geared the hit will very much exceed this)
I personally like an Expertise of 18 (It should be enough)
Spell penetration 195
Note: To get to this use spell penetration gems on the all the blue slots when gemming.

Macros

BURST
#showtooltip Feral Spirit

/cast Blood Fury(Racial)
/use Potion of the Tol'vir
/use Cataclysmic Gladiator's Badge of Conquest

Rotation
Place totems( - Unleashed elements - flame shock - storm strike - lava lash - (bloodlust / trinkets /pots)macro
- feral spirit - Follow priority list

Priority List:
Stormstrike
Lava Lash
Maelstrom Weapon x5 stack + Lightning Bolt or Greater Healing Wave
Flame shock if the unleash flame buff is present


Tip: *Before you do a Lava Lash make sure that there are 5 searing totem ticks on the target.

* When fighting High DPS classes always use Stoneclaw Totem and Shamanistic rage, this will reduce and absorb most of the enemy attacks.
